Don’t let the title of this post deceive you- this 2015 WRX has seen a lot of shop time in the last few months (for a lot more than an exhaust). This 2015 WRX is currently running:
Cobb S/F intake and airbox kit
Perrin lightweight pulley
Cobb stainless steel resonated j-pipe with high flow cat
Invidia Q300 titanium cat-back exhaust
Mishimoto front-mount intercooler
This exhaust installation was actually a pretty interesting test of fitment. Even though we knew the exhaust was for a 2015 WRX, we chose to buy the Invidia Q300 for the 2011-2014 WRX. That’s weird, right? We have our reasons.
The exits on the 2011+ Q300 are slightly shorter than those on the 2015-2016 model, meaning that the gorgeous blue titanium exhaust tips wouldn’t show as much from under the diffuser. The owner of this car is all about the subtlety, so we took a leap with the shorter exhaust and were really happy with the way it turned out.
The fitment on this car was gorgeous… Exhaust tips looked perfect and, for this WRX, we really don’t think we’d have it any other way.
