This tool is designed to aid in the removal of broken head studs. The tool acts as a guide for a 5/16" drill bit. It allows you to drill out the broken stud without damaging the block. The tapered shape allows the tool to fit the exact contour of the head bolt hole. After drilling out the stud, an easy-out is used to remove the broken stud. Our head bolt extractor kit can help you avoid thousands of dollars in additional repairs. The complete kit includes a 1" and 2" removal tool, a 5/16" drill bit and a #5 easy out.
